Balance Druid – Oneth's Intuition proc is lost after Gear Set swap

Hello Team,

I would like to report what appears to be a bug with the Balance Druid legendary Oneth's Intuition.

Description​

Whenever Oneth's Intuition procs from Starsurge, the legendary correctly grants the buff that allows the next Starfall to be cast for free.
However, if I switch to another Gear Set after receiving the proc, the buff immediately disappears and the free Starfall proc is lost.

From my understanding, this is not how the legendary should function.

Expected Behavior​

Once Oneth's Intuition has successfully procced, the buff should remain active until:

• the free Starfall is cast (consuming the proc), or
• the player manually removes the buff.

Changing gear sets should not remove an already active proc.

Actual Behavior​

After swapping Gear Sets, the active Oneth's Intuition proc disappears immediately without being consumed, resulting in the loss of the free Starfall cast.

Evidence​

According to information documented on WoWHead regarding Oneth's Intuition, this behavior is expected:

"The proc persistence from Oneth's Intuition after unequipping the item is a known snapshot/buff retention behavior tied to how the game handles active aura buffs when equipment changes."

Additionally:

"Once the item triggers the internal buff successfully, swapping out the wrist slot removes the item stats but leaves the active buff aura running until its charges or duration expire."

This indicates that changing equipment should not remove an already active proc.

Impact​

This bug has a significant impact on Balance Druid gameplay.
Many players intentionally gear swap after obtaining the proc because the active buff is supposed to persist independently of the equipped legendary. Losing the proc entirely results in lost damage and makes this gameplay mechanic unreliable.

This is the intended behaviour. The class dev decided that's how it will work on this server from now on, the change does not affect balance druid gameplay with this legendary.
This change is not up for debate and whether or not it will be reverted is undecided yet.
